The Geometric Surrealism by Victor Fota

Parts of something bigger

The bother of Monday morning … the best is yet to come when you’ll fascinated by the surreal geometry of Victor Fota. Victor Fota is a Romanian illustrator, visual artist and art restorer; graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, he was immediately interested in physics and chemistry (especially during the years of his Master in Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art), discovering step by step the link between the science of painting and its message. From here, transpose on canvas his philosophical questions through the use of manic symmetry was a moment.

Strongly influenced by the painting of the fifteenth century, and especially from the Flemish, Victor Fota loves to represent the human being, considered as the center of the universe and the vanishing point in the encounter between the laws of Quantum Physics and the spiritual world, creating so an endless succession of planes, symbols, parallel and surreal universes, where time is relative, and rationality is in constant dialogue with Nature and its energy.
